The surgeon who on the evening of the 8th November gave her the body she should of been born into and ensured that never again would Jenni Brown look in a mirror and see herself as a freak. From the bginning I knew that the decision to place the future of all my happiness in his hands was the right one. | Liz Hills, PA, to Mr Thomas, Chief specialist nurse and someone who from beginning to end was, well, just lovely, totally professional, but still just lovely!! Carla and Caroline, two more of her specialist team, not just professionals, caring friends as well. The nursing staff who looked after me so well with so much compassion and care, Caroline, Cliff, Donna, Julia,Katie, Lynn, Priscilla, Sam, Tanya, and others I apologise for missing. | All of you, a days work, done with compassion, care, professionalism and sensitivity, but still a days work you may think. For me? The happy, liberated, carefree woman who loves to flaunt herself down Chiswick high road with a smile on her face but with an ache in her heart knowing she was still a broken jigsaw of parts that didn't fit. The woman who loves to look in a mirror and smile at the reflection but take the clothes off and she cries with the tears of someone who sees herself as a freak. The woman who's liberation from him to her has brought her so much joy but until now still that broken jigsaw .... From this woman the words "THANK YOU" hardly seem enough . All of you, from the bottom of my heart ... THANK YOU" . I could not of been cared for better. | |||||||||||||||||||
